TAPPP and BetMGM Launch Sportsbook-Branded Gift Cards in Ontario

BetMGM is the first igaming operator in Canada to introduce branded retail gift cards for fans of sports betting and online casinos.

TAPPP, the payment solutions provider with a retail network in the U.S. and Canada, has teamed up with BetMGM, making BetMGM gift cards accessible at 2,500 retail sites in Ontario. 

The gift card enables BetMGM users to safely add funds to their sportsbook and online casino accounts through PIN redemption. 

2,500 Store Outlets 

BetMGM gift cards have been accessible in the U.S. since their launch in September 2021 through a collaboration with TAPPP. The cards are spread out among retailers in 15 different states. TAPPP reports that BetMGM gift cards enjoy a 99% redemption rate in the United States.

Initial iGaming Gift Cards 

In Ontario, players using prepaid gift cards have a weekly deposit cap of $250.

H2 employs resources such as web traffic, affiliate traffic, and search volume statistics to gauge market size and growth rates in regulated markets lacking official data.
