Aristocrat Brings First $2M Dragon Link Slots to Venetian Las Vegas

A fresh version of Aristocrat Gaming’s popular Dragon Link slot machines is set to debut at the Venetian Las Vegas, potentially transforming the fortunes of fortunate gamblers. 

The gaming device manufacturer located in Australia revealed today that the initial Dragon Link slot machines featuring a top jackpot of $2 million launched at the Venetian and the Palazzo. Both casinos on the Las Vegas Strip already feature the $1 million edition of the game.

"Players at both properties can choose from Dragon Link Genghis Khan™ and Dragon Link Peace and Long Life™. Both appear on the MarsX™ Upright cabinet by Aristocrat Gaming,” according to a statement issued by Aristocrat.

As expected, the $2 million Dragon Link machines will be placed alongside their $1 million counterparts in high-limit sections. At the Venetian, the High-Limit Slots Salon is found, while at the Palazzo, the slots can be found in the high-limit gaming area. On the main floors of both casinos, there are versions of the game that offer smaller maximum jackpots. 

Venetian Dragon Link Slots Will Be Expensive 

Although slot jackpots have the potential to transform winners' lives similarly to lottery wins, the financial investment required for the former is considerably greater than that of the latter. 

Las Vegas and various casino markets frequently feature tales of gamblers receiving huge jackpots on slot machines from just a few cents, but alternative gaming options with high payout possibilities come with high entry fees. Earlier this year, a customer at Caesars Palace Las Vegas won $165K and then $545K while playing a Dragon Link machine, with each of their spins costing $2,500. 

In contrast, the majority of state lottery tickets are priced at only $1, whereas Mega Millions and Powerball require $2 for each entry. Starting next April, Mega Millions tickets will increase to $5. 

Aristocrat’s announcement about the launch of the $2 million Dragon Link slots at Venetian Palazzo did not specify the maximum credit bet amounts, but it can be presumed that each play will be expensive due to the potential winnings and the placement of the machines in high-limit areas. 

Dragon Link Possesses Slot Star Appeal 

Drawing parallels between inanimate objects and celebrities is a bit far-fetched, yet some achieve that level of fame. Consider Apple's iPhone alongside various other consumer electronics. In the realm of gaming, one could argue that Dragon Link is similar to the iPhone regarding its popularity and appeal in the slots category. 

Already considered one of the most celebrated slot machines globally, Dragon Link boasts a loyal fan base among gamblers and has faced competition from rivals that have been deterred due to legal challenges. 

“Dragon Link is one of the most popular and award-winning slot games in the world. Most recently, the game was named the Top Performing Proprietary Branded Game in the 2023 EKG Awards,” added Aristocrat in the statement.
